Solden is equipped with 31 lifts to take you to 144 kilometres of slopes with mountains higher than 3000 m2. Plus, the two mountain glaciers—Rettenbach and Tiefenbach, which are accessible from September. The ski resort is well-known for the variety of activities available to its tourists, including some exciting challenges. One of these is “The SCHWARZE SCHNEID,” meaning “black cut,” which is ideal for the more advanced skiers, and it’s the longest slope in all of Austria. You can reach it by using the Gaislachkogl and Giggijoch gondola lifts.
