Get to know Les Crosets Ski Resort
Les Crosets Ski Resort, located in the heart of the Matter Valais of the Swiss Alps is part of the larger Portes du Soleil ski area and a fantastic boutique skiing-only destination. To make the least, the location of the resort is 1,700 meters above sea level and offers a majestic view of the Dents-du-Midi chain, whose peaks have been shown in many art pieces.
Also, the resort is ski in and ski out which means that when in Les Crosets, one does not have to travel for long hours before getting to the slopes. The resort features a mix of 14 pistes that cater to all skill levels: 26% of the slalom ski courses are classified for absolute beginners, 59% are classified for intermediates, while the rest 15% of the ski courses are classified for expert skiers.
Les Crosets is situated in the Portes du Soleil, which is one of the largest ski domains, featuring 400 km of downhill skiing on 285 slopes and 196 ski lifts. It helps one move between nearby resorts such as Avoriaz, Morzine, and others thus increasing offered skiing options from a single base resort.
However, ski aside, there is much more to enjoy in Les Crosets during winter: snowshoes, sled, toboggan, or even husky rides. Facilitating the country village theme, there are buildings of stone and wooden Alpine-style chalets. After skiing, guests can have a rest in the impressive alpine restaurants or go to Thermes Parc for a Spa session.
Looking for an adrenaline rush on the slopes, miles of pretty snow-covered paths to walk, or a peaceful escape from the everyday humdrum? There’s something in Les Crosets to suit all skiing holidaymakers, including families, couples, or individuals.
